Rouje and the City contest rules

From 02/09/2022 to 04/09/2022.

 

ARTICLE 1 – ORGANISING COMPANY

The company «Rouje», a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of 5,812 euros, registered with the RCS of Paris under number 817934797 whose head office is located at 11 bis rue Bachaumont 75002 Paris (hereinafter the “organizing company”) is organizing a free no-purchase-necessary contest entitled: Rouje and the City contest (hereinafter referred to as "the competition") from 02/09/2022 to 04/09/2022.

The competition will be available at the following address for the duration of the competition: https://www.instagram.com/rouje/ . This competition is organized as a competition.

 

ARTICLE 2 -  PARTICIPANTS 

This Competition is open to any natural person, subject to the age of maturity in their country, with access to the Internet, a valid email address, and residing in France.

Employees of the Organizing company who have directly taken part in organizing the Competition and have information allowing them to partially or totally avoid the element of chance related to the Competition, as well as members of their family (including partners) living under the same roof, cannot take part in the Competition. 

The organizing company reserves the right to ask any participant to justify these conditions. Anyone who does not meet these conditions or refuses to justify them will be excluded from the competition.

The mere fact of participating in this competition implies the pure and simple acceptance, without reservation, of these regulations.

 

ARTICLE 3 - TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

To participate, each participant must connect to https://www.instagram.com/rouje/.

Participation in the contest is carried out in the following manner:

  • The person must like the post
  • The person must leave a comment under this post, tagging 1 friend.
  • The person must be following Rouje's Instagram account.
  • Bonus: if the person follows Rouje's TikTok account.

In any event, to validly participate in the Competition, the participant must strictly comply with the registration conditions as defined as the case may be, on the online services of the Organizing Company and those of its partners, as well as any other instructions communicated to him by any other means.

 

ARTICLE 4 - DECLARING THE WINNERS 

 

Two winners will be selected and contacted on the 4th of September.

Will be designated as winners, the participants having been contacted by Instagram.

The winner has until the next day to confirm their acceptance of the prize and share their information. Any winner who does not respond within this period will be considered as having outright renounced their prize. At the end of this period, a new winner will be chosen.

 

ARTICLE 5 – PROVISION

The competition will designate two people from among all registered participants who meet the conditions of participation. The prizes are composed of two 300€ vouchers to use on rouje.com

The organizing company reserves the right to verify the age of any winner before handing over his prize. The prize may in no case be exchanged for their value in cash or for any other prize. The organizing company cannot be held responsible for the use or non-use, or even the trading, of the prize by the winner.

In case of unforeseeable circumstances, the organizing company reserves the right to cancel the prize won without consideration.

The prizes that cannot be returned due to an error, an omission or a modification in the contact details provided by the winner, will be kept by the organizing company.

 

ARTICLE 6 - ELIMINATION OF PARTICIPANTS

Failure to comply with these regulations as well as any fraud or attempted cheating, regardless of its terms, will result in the outright elimination of the participation of its author.

 

ARTICLE 7 - MODIFICATION OF THE DATES OF THE COMPETITION AND ENLARGEMENT OF THE NUMBER OF PRIZES

The organizing company may not incur any liability in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control if it were to cancel this competition. It also reserves the right to extend or limit the period of participation, to postpone it or to modify its conditions, its responsibility cannot be engaged as a result.

Additions and modifications to these regulations may possibly be published during the competition. They will be considered as appendices to these regulations. Any change will be the subject of prior information by any appropriate means after filling the amendment with the office of the Bailiff depositary of these regulations.

 

ARTICLE 8 - RESPONSIBILITIES

Participation implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the Internet, the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation or hacking and risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the network. The organizing company declines all direct or indirect responsibility in the event of misuse or incident related to the use of the computer, access to the Internet, maintenance or malfunction of the competition servers, the line telephone or any other technical connection, sending forms to an incorrect or incomplete address.

It is up to all participants to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and / or software stored on their computer equipment against any attack.

The organizing company will make its best efforts to allow access to the competition. The organizing company may, at any time, in particular for technical reasons, update, maintain, interrupt access to the site and to the Competition. The organizing company will not be responsible for these interruptions and their consequences. No compensation can be claimed in this respect.

In addition, the responsibility of the organizing company can in no way be retained in the event of delivery problems or loss of postal or electronic mail (especially with regard to the delivery of prizes). Any prize sent by the organizing company to a winner which is unclaimed or returned for any other reason by the postal services will be lost for the winner and will remain acquired by the organizing company. The organizing company cannot be held responsible for the poor functioning of the Internet network, nor for delay, loss or damage resulting from the postal and management services.

 

ARTICLE 9 - INTELLECTUAL, LITERARY AND ARTISTIC PROPERTY RIGHTS

The images used on the competition site, the objects represented, the brands and trade names mentioned, the graphic and computer elements and the databases making up the competition site, are the exclusive property of their respective owners and cannot be extracted, reproduced or used without the written permission of the latter, under penalty of civil and / or criminal prosecution.

 

ARTICLE 10 - PERSONAL DATA

Participants are informed that by accessing the competition's website, a cookie may be stored on the hard drive of their computer, if necessary. This is a small computer file used to record their browsing on the competition's website. Cookies are used to identify each participant in order to allow them to access information more quickly, without having to re-enter them. They cannot in any case damage the data on his computer.

A participant can oppose the recording of this cookie, or choose to be notified of the recording of this cookie on his hard drive, by configuring his browser software (the participant is invited to refer to the conditions of use of their browser regarding this functionality). When this setting is made, the participant nevertheless retains the possibility of accessing and participating in the competition's website.

In accordance with the amended Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right access and rectification of information concerning you as well as a right of opposition, the right to limit processing and erasure within the framework allowed by the European Regulation.

This right of access is applicable by writing to Rouje - Jeu Concours "Rouje and the City" - 11 bis rue Bachaumont, 75 002 Paris.

If you consider, after having contacted the Company that his IT rights and Freedoms are not respected, you can submit a complaint to the CNIL.

 

ARTICLE 11 - RULES

The payment is sent, free of charge, to any person who requests it before the close of the competition. The request is made, by request on the "contact us" section of the website www.rouje.com or by mail at the following address: Rouje - 11bis rue Bachaumont, 75002 Paris. The Organizing Company reserves the right to modify these regulations, any modification will be available on the website www.rouje.com.

 

ARTICLE 12 - APPLICABLE LAW – PLACE OF JURISDICTION 

Any possible dispute on the interpretation of the regulations will be decided by the organizing company.

Participation in this Competition implies the unconditional acceptance of (i) these regulations in all their stipulations, (ii) the ethical rules in force on the Internet (label, charter of good conduct, etc.) as well as (iii) the laws and regulations in force on French territory and in particular the provisions applicable to the competitions and lotteries in force. No telephone or written request will be answered concerning the interpretation or application of these rules, the mechanisms or the terms of the competition, as well as the list of winners. In the event of a dispute, only a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt sent within a maximum period of 30 days after the end of the Competition will be admissible. Except in the case of obvious errors, it is agreed that the information resulting from the competition of the organizing company has a probative force in any dispute as to the connection elements and the computer processing of said information relating to the Competition.

Prior to any legal action related to or in connection with these regulations (in particular its application or interpretation), the participants undertake to file an amicable and free appeal with the organizing company.

Participants are subject to French regulations applicable to competitions and competitions. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be submitted to the competent courts on which the head office of the organizing company depends, except in the case of public policy to the contrary.
